Questions before you start
Simple answers about Optifold, results, tape placement, and what to expect while your eyelid crease develops.
How do I know if Optifold is right for me?
Optifold works best for people whose eyelids can form or almost form a crease, but the crease is unstable, uneven, shallow, or inconsistent.
The easiest way to check is to complete the assessment and send your eyelid profile video so our team can review your eyelid behavior.

How long does it take to see results?
Some people see a temporary crease early, even within the first few uses. A more stable crease usually takes longer because the eyelid has to keep returning to the same fold pattern.
For suitable eyelids that respond normally, the full process is often around 4 to 6 months.
Do I wear Optifold during the day?
Optifold is mainly designed for night use. You wear the tapes while sleeping, remove them in the morning, and go through the day without visible tape.
This is different from regular daytime eyelid tape, which is usually used for a temporary cosmetic look.
Will Optifold make my eyelids sag?
Optifold is designed differently from basic cosmetic eyelid tape. The goal is to guide the eyelid crease in a controlled way instead of randomly pulling the skin for a daytime look.
Incorrect tape type, poor placement, or repeated pulling can make eyelids look heavier over time, which is why placement and removal matter.

What if one eye is much harder?
That is one of the most common reasons people use Optifold. Many customers have one stable eye and one difficult eye that collapses, changes, or forms a lower crease.
The difficult eye may need a different tape size, angle, or placement strategy.
Why does my crease appear and disappear?
This can happen because eyelids change with puffiness, sleep, fatigue, hydration, and how strongly the crease has stabilized.
A crease that appears and disappears is not always a bad sign. It can mean the eyelid is responding, but the crease is not stable yet.

What if I am not seeing progress?
If you are not seeing progress, the first thing to check is placement. Even a small difference in tape height or angle can change how the eyelid folds.
Our team may ask for updated videos so we can see whether the tape is too high, too low, too flat, or not matching your crease target.
Can I flip the tape or use the wrong side?
No. The tapes are designed with a specific orientation for each eye. Flipping the tape changes how it interacts with the eyelid and can disrupt the crease pattern.
Use the correct side and size shown in your instructions.
What is the difference between tapes, EyelidCare™, and Results Guaranteed?
Tapes are for customers who want to follow the method on their own.
EyelidCare™ adds monthly support for placement, video review, and routine adjustments.
Results Guaranteed is the highest-support pathway for qualified clients who want close guidance through the correction process.
Can I use Optifold after eyelid surgery?
It depends on your eyelid condition and how fully you have healed. Do not apply tape over fresh wounds, irritation, or scar tissue that has not settled.
If your eyelid shape changed because of scar tissue, nerve issues, or muscle problems, Optifold may not be the right method.
