For East Asian eyelids, angle the inner end slightly downward toward the inner corner and follow the crease selected in your Optifold eyelid assessment or recommended by your Eyelid Advisor.
For Occidental eyelids, keep the F-tape more level and follow the selected crease rather than using a fixed lash-line gap.
Step 3
Smooth the Skin Over the F-Tape
Gently smooth the taut eyelid skin over the full length of the tape.
Step 4
Check the F-Tape Position
Look straight ahead and check that the crease is in the selected position.
Step 5
Attach the Lower Tabs of the N-Tape
Press each lower adhesive tab down one at a time.
Overnight
Wear the Tapes Overnight
Wear the tapes for about eight hours while you sleep.
Step 6
Remove the N-Tape First
After waking, slowly remove the N-tape from the inner corner toward the outer corner.
Step 7
Release the Skin from the F-Tape
If recommended by your Eyelid Advisor, leave the F-tape in place for an additional 30 minutes to one hour after removing the N-tape. When it is time to remove the F-tape, first fully release the eyelid skin from the adhesive.
Step 8
Slowly Remove the F-Tape
Once the skin is fully released, remove the F-tape from the outer corner toward the inner corner.
