If your double eyelids do not sustain a minimum of 8 hours, do not interfere with the crease’s development by rubbing and washing the eyelid skin. If the stickiness feels uncomfortable, apply skin lotion to the area to reduce the sensation of adhesion.

The residual glue may assist in the early stages of crease development. However, an incorrect and unnatural targeted crease location will not be able to fold even with the assistance of residual glue, (example: choosing the wrong tape size). The corollary is true: If a crease is developing with the aid of residual glue, it is not the glue that is the cause, but it is because the targeted area of skin is natural to folding and the residual glue provides a supporting role during the early stages of crease development.
